I read a long article about her once--she donated a HUGE amount of land to be set aside as parkland in England, right? She was quite something in her time. Back to your watercolors: I just love your large blocks of blacks and greens. It is what I loved about your oils. You are fearless, and you see landscape as abstract shapes. This makes it more beautiful when you paint it. I have always had a hard time with that. I get lost in local color and don't see real "values." But you've got it down! Your work is beautiful!
